*This is my favorite place to shop at. You can score some really amazing deals every week. They offer in-ad coupons that you can stack with a manufacture coupon so can get some steals this way. These come in the circulars weekly. Sometimes they also have some in the weekly coupon inserts.
Example:
The Walgreens coupon is for $2.49 and the manufacture coupon take off $0.75;
-Buy (2) Cottonelle Fresh Wipes $4.98
-Use $0.75 on any two Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes
-Pay $4.23 for both or $2.11 each
*Another way to save is by getting Register Rewards aka Catalinas. A Register Reward is a coupon that prints out after your transaction that is for a certain amount advertised.
The following picture is what it would look like in a weekly circular.
Example:
Mitchum or Lady Mitchum Antiperspirant/Deodorant $2.99 receive $2 RR
-Buy Lady Mitchum Deodorant $2.99
-Pay $2.99
-Get $2 RR good on your next purchase at Walgreens
=Like paying $0.99!
Now here’s where it gets fun:
Use a manufacture coupon to make it really cheap! (many times free!)
-Buy Lady Mitchum Deodorant $2.99
-Use $1.00 any Mitchum
-Pay $2.00
-Get $2 RR good on your next purchase at Walgreens
= FREE
**If coupon is greater than the sale price, price of the item will be adjusted down as stated in the Walgreens Coupon Policy.
You can also “roll” your register rewards to maximize your savings.
**The Walgreens coupon policy states that you must have the same amount of items as manufacture coupons, so this is where the “fillers” come in. Usually, Walgreens has a Deal of the Week on the front page of their circular. Which is a pretty cheap item that you can use to “fill” your transaction to have an equal amount of items. You don’t have to use this! You can mind something else in the clearance section, or it may be an item that you want and don’t have a coupon for.
