Oh how I love getting super cheap and FREE things with coupons!! Right now you can get numerous good deals on Nivea products at Target. When you buy 3 participating items, you get a $5 Target GC. You can score numerous good deals depending on your coupons and how well stocked your Target it. Here is what I was able to get today:

I spent $6.29 Out of Pocket, but I ended up with a $5 Target Giftcard so it’s like I spent $1.29 for 3 full sized lotions and 6 travel sized lotions worth $20.96! These were the only coupons I had on hand and they were all out of the smaller Nivea lotions priced at $4.24, if you have a bunch of $2 coupons and find the smaller lotions, then you have yourself some Money Making deals!! If you notice in the photo I was also able to get just one with the Free travel sized lotion, because that’s all I found but, they did both have 25% more Free! The lip balms were also included in the deal, the small tins didn’t have the tag that they were included in the deal at my Target, but they should prompt for the Giftcard at the register. Remember that in order to get the Giftcard your total for all 3 products must be over $5 before coupons are applied, meaning you can’t get 3 tins for FREE .

So head over to your Target with your clipped coupons and see what great deals you can score! You can find Nivea coupons in either the 4/15 RP or the 04/29 RP. If you got your Target beauty bag in the mail, it also comes with a $1/1 Nivea Body Skin Care Target coupon! So don’t forget those to maximize your savings even more!!

Dollar General Saturday Trip 04/21 – 86% Savings!

Since this is my first Dollar General Trip post, I am going to give you tips and tricks on how to coupon at Dollar General! It’s very simple

Dollar General is one of my favorite places to shop. You have to wait for a good deal, but when it’s good it’s great! For example this week the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razors were on sale for $6.75, these usually run for about $8-$10. The Wisk was on sale for $4 and it usually runs for about $5-$7, so even without coupons, by buying these items when they are on sale, the savings add up! There was some nice high value $2/1 Nivea coupons in last Sunday’s RedPlum and the Nivea bottles are only $2.50 (regular price) at DG. Even though it’s the smaller bottles, $.50 is a great deal! What really sets Dollar General apart though is their $5/$25 coupon. These coupons are usually valid for one day only. When they are available, you will find them on their website or sometimes they will print on your DG receipts. (I got one for the 04/28 today!) The GREAT thing about this coupon is that you can apply it before you apply your manufacture coupons! Which is what I did today to get such a great deal.

Here’s what my purchase looked like:

HEB Trip 03/26 – Energizer Giftcard Deal! 86% Savings!!

I hadn’t gotten the opportunity to try out the HEB Energizer Giftcard Deal for ya’ll! I was finally able to run in and out today to grab these items I really wanted. If you want to read more about this HOT Deal, check it out over Here. I will also be posting new scenarios in a bit. This deal will run through 04/03. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on razors, shave gel, tampons, batteries, and sun block!

My Walgreens Trip 02/28 – 85% Savings!

So here’s what happened…

I usually drive out of the way to the Walgreen’s that’s farthest from me because they are the coupon friendliest and they usually have stock in the RR items. I’m getting there about 45 minutes to close, ready with my shopping list, when I realize I don’t have my debit card and all I have are $8 Cash to spend! I’m kinda glad it happened that way, I was able to make the absolute best of what I had! I knew I had to have the Glade because it was absolutely FREE and the Flora because I was making money out of it thanks to coupons. The rest was on my list, but I could go back and get it later. I think I’ll start shopping this way from here on, just take a certain amount of cash and make the best out of it!
